Dastata > I was taking pictures of Monarch Butterflys
Dastata > When I saw the smoke from the first hit. It looked like a question mark so I took this picture and headed twards the 69th St. pier to find out what had happened.
Dastata > I had just arrived at the pier and was told that an airoplane had hit the North Tower. I heard a loud "tearing" noise. Looking thru the viewfinder and Flt. 175 came into focus, I took the picture.
Dastata > I was suprized whenthe plane suddenly turned towards the East River (I was expecting it to go up the Hudson to inspect the incident) I found it in focus and snapped this as it hit the South tower.
Dastata > Both towers were now burning

Dastata > The second tower bigins to fall. I did not see the first collapse because I was saving, to my PC, the pictures I had already taken (these were early days in digital photography)
